Coral
Coral are animals that support 25% of ocean life. There are 800 types of hard coral around the world. The first coral reefs formed before the existence of dinosaurs - about 240 million years ago! Coral reefs are made up of tiny animals called coral polyps. They live together and attach to a surface. Together, they become an ecosystem that provides food and shelter to marine animals.
